Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is planing to host its Black Friday event not on Thanksgiving.
You read that correctly. Market watchers today pointed out that Apple has a page setup for a one-day event on November 29th.
The even has only been posted to the company's Australia and New Zealand sites, but given that those two markets are about one-day ahead of the U.S., its expected that the some announcements will show up on North American and other sites soon.
Deals will probably be similar to that offered last year, which included $100 off of MacBooks and smaller discounts for more-popular items like iPads and iPods.
Apple is up about 1 percent Monday.
