With BlackBerry (Nasdaq: BBRY) on still-shaky ground, will developers keep cranking out the goods for its new mobile platform, BlackBerry 10 (BB10)?
According to Digitmes sources, the answer may be
Digitmes said developers at BlackBerry Jam Asia 2013 said they would stick by BB10 and also noted that they would continue development for Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone 8.
On reasoning, most developers said that Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android and Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS platforms are largely saturated, giving little room for most developers to grow.
Over the last year, Digitmes said the number of Taiwanese developers working with BB10 has doubled and is now past the 1,000 level.
While the future of BlackBerry isn't certain, its BB10 platform will still see growth as developers continue to seek opportunity.
