Amazon.com (AMZN) is Giving $100 Worth of Apps Away

Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) is running a notable promotion for the anniversary of its App Store.

The company is giving away about $100 worth of free apps. Prices on each of the 34 apps being offered range from $1 up to $9.

The offer will run through Saturday, March 21st.

Shares of Amazon are just about flat on the session Thursday.
