AT&T (NYSE: T) probably had the best of intentions with its 9/11 tribute today. Most people though otherwise.
Highlighting the dangers of social media once again, AT&T posted the following image to its Twitter account with the words "Never Forget" above it:

The post was removed and has since been replaced with the following message:
While an honest mistake, the post took off with fire, angering more than one blogger today. AT&T currently has about 285,000 followers for its official account. The stock is up 0.7 percent on the session.
