'Too Big To Fail' Boasts All-Star Lineup

According to hollywoodreporter.com, the movie adaptation of "Too Big To Fail" has an all-star lineup. Let’s see if the casting director hit the nail on the head:
  • Ben Bernanke will be played by Paul Giamatti (Sideways, John Adams)
  • William Hurt as Hank Paulson (previously announced)
  • Topher Grace (That 70's Show, In Good Company) as Jim Wilkinson
  • Ed Asner as Warren Buffett
  • Tony Shalhoub (Independence Day, Monk) as John Mack
  • James Woods as Dick Fuld
  • Dan Hedaya (Dick) as Barney Frank
  • Cynthia Nixon (Sex in the City) as Michele Davis
  • Michael O’Keefe (Michael Clayton, The Glass House) as Chris Flowers
  • Ayad Akhtar as Neel Kashkari
  • Kathy Baker as Wendy Paulson
  • Billy Crudup (Big Fish, Jesus' Son) as Timothy Geithner
  • Joey Slotnick (Hollow Man) as Dan Jester
Director for the project will be "LA Confidential's" Curtis Hanson.

HBO is producing in association with Spring Creek Productions, with Hanson, Paula Weinstein and Jeffrey Levine as executive producers.

Notably, the list is absent any official Wall Streeters, as their acting ability was “alarmingly believable.”
