Hyperscale Data chairman plans open-market stock purchases

Hyperscale Data, Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS) founder and Executive Chairman Milton "Todd" Ault III issued a letter to stockholders stating his intention to purchase company shares on the open market, subject to applicable securities laws, trading policies, blackout periods, and other legal restrictions.

In the letter, Ault said he believes the company is undervalued and that its current market capitalization does not reflect the value of its businesses and assets. He said he beneficially owns a majority of the company on an as-converted basis, directly and through affiliated entities.

According to the letter, Hyperscale Data reported the following revenue figures for the first six months of 2026: approximately $23.8 million from its defense segment, $22.1 million from crane rental and industrial services, $9.7 million from hotel and real estate operations, and $9.2 million from lending and trading activities through Ault Lending, LLC.

The company has an executed master services agreement with a California-based neocloud provider covering 20 megawatts of capacity at its Michigan AI data center, with an initial 10-year term and two five-year extension options. The company has stated the agreement is expected to generate more than $1.2 billion in revenue over the maximum term. An option for an additional 32 megawatts, if exercised and extended through the full term, could bring total contract revenue to more than $3.0 billion.

Hyperscale Data has issued preliminary guidance for 2027 of $300 million to $350 million in consolidated revenue and $60 million to $80 million in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.

The company also noted that it expects to divest its subsidiary Ault Capital Group, Inc. in 2027, after which Hyperscale Data would focus on data center operations and digital assets.
