CBOE Confirms Twitter (TWTR) Options to Start Tomorrow

As expected, Twitter, Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) options will start trading tomorrow - Friday November 15, the CBOE reported.

From CBOE:

The CBOE and C2 will be trading TWTR options tomorrow morning, November 15th. We got approval from the OCC minutes ago and here’s what we have:

Option Cycle: TWTR options will be in the March, June, September and December

Initial expirations: will be December, Jan (’14), March and June

Strikes: TWTR strike prices will be in one-point increments, ranging from the 35-strike to the 50 strike price.

Weeklys options: as of 11:45am we will not list Weekly’s initially, but there is a meeting going on now about that.

LEAPS availability: not yet, as of now. If this changes we’ll get out a blog and tweet.

Morgan Stanley will serve as the Electronic DPM (Designated Primary Market-maker) on CBOE. Group One will serve as LMM on the CBOE Trading Floor. The DPM on C2 will be Wolverine Trading.

For you Institutional traders reading this, the position limit on TWTR is set at 25,000 contracts.
