Alpex Acquisition prices $100M IPO on Nasdaq
Alpex Acquisition Corporation (NASDAQ: ALPXU), a blank check company, priced its initial public offering of 10,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit, raising $100 million, according to a press release.
The units began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker "ALPXU" on June 25, 2026. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share, one redeemable warrant, and one right to receive one-fourth of one Class A ordinary share upon completion of an initial business combination. Each whole redeemable warrant carries an exercise price of $11.50 per share.
Upon separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares, warrants, and rights are expected to list on Nasdaq under "ALPX," "ALPXW," and "ALPXR," respectively.
D. Boral Capital LLC is acting as sole book-running manager. The underwriters hold a 45-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional units to cover over-allotments. The offering was expected to close on June 26, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
The SEC declared the registration statement on Form S-1 effective on June 24, 2026. Alpex is formed to pursue a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, or similar business combination and has not limited its target search to any particular industry or geographic region.
