ServicePower appoints Rob McGinnis as chief executive officer

ServicePower, a field service management software company based in McLean, Va., announced the appointment of Rob McGinnis as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, according to a press release dated Oct. 9, 2026.



McGinnis succeeds Frank Gelbart, who has led ServicePower since 2018 and will transition to an advisory role with the company.



McGinnis has more than three decades of leadership experience across software, insurance, healthcare and financial services. He most recently served as Group President at Harris Computer, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), where he oversaw mergers and acquisitions and profit-and-loss teams focused on vertical market software companies. Earlier roles include President and CEO of Marsh's U.S. Consumer business, President and CEO of CNA Insurance's Life and Group Operations, and Chief Operating Officer of UnitedHealthcare's Small Business Group.



"ServicePower has built a strong foundation, with an outstanding customer base, an experienced team and a compelling portfolio of field service, contractor compliance and AI solutions," McGinnis said.



Ron Nayot, Managing Partner at Diversis Capital, the private equity firm that backs ServicePower, commented on the appointment: "Rob brings a valuable combination of software leadership, operating experience and knowledge of the industries ServicePower serves."



Under McGinnis, ServicePower said it will focus on growth, customer partnerships and its platform spanning field service management, contractor compliance and Vision AI.
