Rektron Group names Mikael Lundgren as new CEO

Rektron Group Inc. (CSE: REK.U)(FRA: F75) has appointed Mikael Lundgren as Chief Executive Officer and director, effective immediately, according to a press release issued September 25, 2026.

Lundgren succeeds Atanas Kolarov, who stepped down as CEO. The company also disclosed that Swapnil Mokashi resigned as a director effective August 11, 2026, and that Ronald Galetzki has also resigned as a director.

Lundgren has a background in corporate governance, finance, legal affairs, and capital markets. He currently serves in an executive capacity at an advisory and investor-relations firm and sits on the boards of several publicly listed companies in North America. Earlier in his career, he held senior legal and partnership roles in the Middle East and Europe.

"I am excited and honoured to take on the role of CEO at Rektron. This is a genuine turnaround opportunity. I look forward to working closely with the Board and the team to stabilise the business, strengthen our foundation, and build a stronger, more focused company that delivers sustainable value for shareholders," Lundgren said.

Rektron disclosed that it remains subject to a failure-to-file cease trade order issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission and stated it continues to work toward satisfying outstanding continuous disclosure obligations.
