Definitive Healthcare Corp. (Nasdaq: DH) has appointed Clay Ritchey as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of its Board of Directors, effective September 8, 2026, according to a company statement.
Ritchey succeeds Kevin Coop, who departed as CEO and board member on August 31, 2026. Coop had held the position since June 2024.
Ritchey joins Definitive Healthcare from Verato, a healthcare master data management company, where he also served as CEO. Earlier in his career, he held senior marketing and go-to-market roles at Hill-Rom and Kronos.
Jason Krantz, Chairman of the Board, said Ritchey has "more than 25 years of experience across the healthcare master data and technology markets" and "a proven track record of generating faster, durable, and profitable growth in his prior senior leadership roles."
"I'm thrilled to be joining Definitive Healthcare to help accelerate the company's return to growth," Ritchey said, also citing a forthcoming AI-powered platform that combines healthcare data with conversational AI and workflows.
