Saia, Inc. (SAIA) Provides Third Quarter LTL Operating Data

Saia, Inc. (Nasdaq: SAIA), a leading transportation provider offering national less-than-truckload (LTL), non-asset truckload, expedited and logistics services, is providing LTL shipment and tonnage data for the first two months of the third quarter. In July 2024, LTL shipments per workday increased 10.6%, LTL tonnage per workday increased 5.0% and LTL weight per shipment declined 5.0% to 1,331 pounds compared to 1,401 pounds in July 2023. In August 2024, LTL shipments per workday increased 7.0%, LTL tonnage per workday increased 8.2% and LTL weight per shipment increased 1.2% to 1,354 pounds compared to 1,339 pounds in August 2023. These results are consistent with our expectations as we continue to invest in our network.
