Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR) announced on November 20 that it has revised its management organization and updated its reportable segments following the completion of its transformation. Beginning in fiscal 2026, the company will report results for five segments.

The new structure includes Control Systems & Software, which delivers automation systems, intelligent software and industrial AI solutions. This segment incorporates programmable automation controllers previously reported in the former Discrete Automation segment.

The Test & Measurement segment offers intelligent test platforms, modular hardware and software under the NI brand. Control Systems & Software and Test & Measurement will be combined and reported as the Software & Systems group.

The Sensors segment, formerly described as Measurement & Analytical, provides sensing and measurement solutions through brands including Rosemount and Micro Motion for monitoring critical parameters and optimizing operations.

The Final Control segment supplies valves, digital valve controllers, actuators and regulators through brands like Fisher, ASCO and Bettis. This segment now includes the fluid & motion control business from the former Discrete Automation segment. Sensors and Final Control will be combined and reported as the Intelligent Devices group.

The Safety & Productivity segment delivers tools, connected equipment and technologies for mechanical, electrical and plumbing industries. This segment has been expanded to include electrical equipment and materials joining businesses from the former Discrete Automation segment.

The reorganization follows Emerson's completion of its corporate transformation and will take effect for fiscal year 2026 reporting.
