Brinker International (NYSE: EAT) held its 2026 Investor Day at its Dallas, Texas headquarters on Sept. 17, where the company outlined long-term financial targets through its fiscal year 2029.

The company set a target of 4% to 6% annual revenue growth, supported by 2% to 3% unit growth, with plans to open 30 new restaurants annually by fiscal 2029. Brinker also targets double-digit annual percent growth in net income per diluted share, excluding special items, on a non-GAAP basis. The company said it plans to repurchase 3% to 5% of shares annually, subject to board approval of incremental authorizations under its existing share repurchase program.

The company said new restaurant openings will target new trade areas. Brinker also said it plans to invest in remodeling its existing restaurant portfolio alongside building new Chili's locations.

"Over the past four years, we've worked hard to transform Chili's into a stronger business that delivers an exceptional experience for our guests, makes it easier and more rewarding for our team members, and delivers superior shareholder returns," said Kevin Hochman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Brinker International.

Brinker operates or franchises more than 1,600 restaurants across 29 countries and two U.S. territories under its Chili's Grill & Bar and Maggiano's Little Italy brands.
