AerCap completes 146 asset transactions in third quarter
AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) completed 146 asset transactions during the third quarter of 2025, according to a company statement released October 3.
The aviation leasing company signed 66 lease agreements covering 14 widebody aircraft, 25 narrowbody aircraft, 15 engines and 12 helicopters. AerCap completed 35 purchases including 17 aircraft, with 8 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft and 9 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft added to its owned portfolio, along with 11 engines and 7 helicopters.
The company executed 45 sale transactions involving 40 aircraft, 4 engines and 1 helicopter. Aircraft sales included various models from both owned and managed portfolios, comprising 2 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, 10 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 1 Airbus A330, 5 Boeing 737NGs, 7 Boeing 777-300ERs and 5 Embraer E190/E195s.
AerCap received approximately €203 million in cash insurance settlement proceeds and was awarded approximately $234 million of interest on a June 11, 2025 Commercial Court judgment in London related to assets lost in Russia in 2022.
The company repurchased approximately 8.2 million shares at an average price of $119.95 per share, totaling approximately $981 million. AerCap declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.27 per share on ordinary shares.
