Top Bloomberg Editor Resigns Following Early FOMC Minutes Data Release
One of the top editors at Bloomberg is said to have left the company following Wednesday's premature FOMC Minutes data release.
Headlines about the FOMC minutes crossed Bloomberg screens some 24 minutes early yesterday.
The NY Post said Thursday afternoon that Chris Wellisz resigned his position at the news service. Wellisz led Bloomberg's U.S. economic policy unit and was located at Bloomberg's Washington bureau.
Wellisz's bio page at Bloomberg is now updated to direct calls to his supervisor, Ken Fireman.
