Iranians open to uranium enrichment limits - Reuters
Investing.com -- Iran is prepared to discuss limitations on its uranium enrichment but will not accept a "zero enrichment" demand, a senior Iranian official said Friday, according to Reuters.
The official stated that Tehran would not agree to completely halt enrichment, particularly under current Israeli military pressure.
"The role of European powers is now more prominent," the official said, adding that Iran is not willing to engage with the United States at this stage. "We need to hear the E3’s initiative on the nuclear issue," the official added, referring to Britain, France, and Germany.
