Chelsea Clinton Engaged To Former Goldman Sachs Banker Marc Mezvinsky

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, is engaged to longtime boyfriend, Marc Mezvinsky, a former Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) banker turned hedge fund executive.

According to the New York Times, Ms. Clinton and Mr. Mezvinsky sent an e-mail message to friends and family on Friday announcing their engagement. "We're sorry for the mass e-mail," they wrote, "but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc."
