Ben Bernanke is Taking Your Questions Next Week

April 21, 2011 3:52 PM UTC
In the beginning of a new era for the Federal Reserve, Wednesday April 27th will mark the first time the FOMC will hold a press briefing following a FOMC's policy decision.

On the days press briefings are scheduled, the FOMC statement is expected to be released at around 12:30 p.m., versus the prior 2:15 p.m. release time. The press briefings will be held at 2:15 p.m.

Press briefings have been scheduled four times per year. This year they are scheduled for April 27, June 22 and November 2.

The briefings will be broadcast live on the Federal Reserve's website.

It is expected that Chairman Ben Bernanke will be taking questions.

For the market there is one main question for "The Bernank." Will there be a QE3? Of course he will not answer this question directly, but maybe the market can read his body language from the conference. Did David Tepper ever hire that body language expert?
