aTyr Pharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIFE) today made an announcement on its commencement of a public offering of shares of its common stock, with a 30-day option for underwriters to purchase additional shares of its common stock. The offering, for which Piper Sandler and RBC Capital Markets are acting as joint book-running managers, is expected to price the shares between $8.00 and $8.25, early reports indicated. The total number of shares being was unknown at this time.
The company’s shares closed with a 5.33% loss today and were trading more than 1.5% lower after-hours.
The stock has seen recent gains after the company announced positive results from its Phase 1b/2a data for ATYR1923 in pulmonary sarcoidosis patients on Monday.
