Viant Technology launches public stock offering of 8.5M shares

Viant Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: DSP) has announced an underwritten public offering of 8,500,000 shares of its Class A common stock to be sold by a selling stockholder of the company.
The underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,275,000 additional shares directly from Viant. The company said it will only receive proceeds from the sale of those optional shares and will not receive proceeds from the shares sold by the selling stockholder.
Evercore ISI, Wells Fargo Securities, RBC Capital Markets, and Craig-Hallum are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
The offering is being made pursuant to a shelf registration statement on Form S-3 that became effective with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 23, 2024. The company noted the offering remains subject to market and other conditions, with no assurance as to whether or when it may be completed, or as to its final size or terms.
