Twist Bioscience proposes $250M common stock offering

Twist Bioscience Corporation (Nasdaq: TWST) announced a proposed underwritten public offering of $250.0 million of shares of its common stock, according to a press release from the South San Francisco-based company.



Twist also intends to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $37.5 million of shares. All shares in the proposed offering will be sold by Twist.



The company said it plans to use the net proceeds, combined with existing cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities, to fund research and development, expand manufacturing capacity, broaden product offerings, and cover working capital and general corporate purposes.



Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, William Blair, Leerink Partners, and Guggenheim Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.



The offering is being made pursuant to an automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on June 18, 2026. The company noted the proposed offering remains subject to market and other conditions, with no assurance provided as to whether, when, or on what terms it may be completed.
