LightInTheBox raises $5.49M in private placement, CEO invests

LightInTheBox Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: LITB) completed a private placement on Aug. 10, 2026, raising approximately $5.49 million in gross proceeds, according to a company statement.
The company issued 21,397,409 ordinary shares at $0.2566667 per share, equivalent to $3.08 per American Depositary Share (ADS), with each ADS representing twelve ordinary shares.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jian He participated in the financing through Conner Growth Holding Limited, an entity he wholly owns, contributing approximately $1.09 million. Following the transaction, He beneficially owns approximately 24.1% of the company's outstanding ordinary shares.
LightInTheBox said it intends to use the proceeds to strengthen financial flexibility and invest in AI-related capabilities, including product discovery, personalization, merchandising, content creation, customer engagement, and operating infrastructure.
