Copper Quest closes C$850,000 private placement led by Concept Capital
Copper Quest Exploration Inc. (CSE: CQX) (OTCQB: IMIMF) (FSE: 3MX0) announced a fully subscribed non-brokered private placement of up to 10,625,000 units at C$0.08 per unit, raising gross proceeds of up to C$850,000.
Each unit consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant exercisable at C$0.13 per share, expiring two years from issuance. The warrants may be accelerated if the share price equals or exceeds C$0.30 for ten consecutive trading days, after which warrant holders would have 30 calendar days to exercise before expiry.
Concept Capital Management Ltd., described by the company as its largest strategic investor, is leading the offering. CEO Brian Thurston stated, "This second strategic investment into Copper Quest adds another level of comfort for our shareholders through a strong treasury and working capital that allows the Company to expand its planned exploration and drilling operations for the 2026/27 seasons."
Proceeds are designated for exploration activities and general working capital. Closing is expected on or before September 18, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. All securities issued will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance under National Instrument 45-102. The company may pay finder's fees in connection with the placement.
Copper Quest holds interests in eight mineral projects spanning approximately 50,000 hectares across Canada and the United States, according to a company statement.
