C3is completes $2 million registered direct offering
C3is Inc. (NASDAQ: CISS) completed a registered direct offering on October 9, 2025, selling 800,000 shares of common stock to institutional investors at $2.50 per share for gross proceeds of $2 million.
The Athens, Greece-based shipping company plans to use the net proceeds alongside existing cash for general corporate purposes and working capital. C3is provides dry bulk and tanker seaborne transportation services.
Aegis Capital Corp. served as the exclusive placement agent for the offering. The transaction was conducted under an effective shelf registration statement on Form F-3 that the Securities and Exchange Commission declared effective on March 6, 2025.
C3is operates a fleet of four vessels comprising three handysize drybulk carriers with total capacity of 97,664 deadweight tons and one Aframax oil tanker with capacity of approximately 115,800 deadweight tons. The combined fleet capacity totals 213,464 deadweight tons.
The company's shares trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol CISS.
