Medifast (MED) Tops Q2 EPS by 16c; Raises Outlook

Medifast (NYSE: MED) reported Q2 EPS of $1.16, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $1.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $117.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $103.78 million.

GUIDANCE:

Medifast sees Q3 2018 EPS of $1.05-$1.10, versus the consensus of $0.96. Medifast sees Q3 2018 revenue of $120-125 million, versus the consensus of $104.4 million.

Medifast sees FY2018 EPS of $4.43-$4.45, versus the consensus of $3.83. Medifast sees FY2018 revenue of $460-470 million, versus the consensus of $411.6 million.
