Gastar Exploration (GST) Misses Q4 EPS by 3c

Gastar Exploration (NYSE: GST) reported Q4 EPS of $0.02, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $33.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $38.5 million.

Adjusted earnings before interest, income taxes, depreciation, depletion and amortization ("adjusted EBITDA") for the fourth quarter of 2014 was $25.9 million, an increase of 22% compared to $21.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2013.
