Brown-Forman (BF-A) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c

Brown-Forman (NYSE: BF-A) reported Q3 EPS of $0.47, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $904 million versus the consensus estimate of $913 million.

GUIDANCE:

Brown-Forman sees FY2019 EPS of $1.65-$1.75.

• Underlying net sales growth of 6% to 7%.
• Modest declines in underlying SG&A and underlying A&P growth roughly in-line with net sales gains.
• Underlying operating income growth of 4% to 6%.
