American Axle (AXL) Tops Q2 EPS by 9c

American Axle (NYSE: AXL) reported Q2 EPS of $0.90, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.03 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.03 billion.

GUIDANCE:

American Axle sees FY2016 revenue of $4.0 billion, versus the consensus of $3.98 billion.

• AAM is targeting an Adjusted EBITDA margin in the range of 15.0% to 15.5% in 2016.
• AAM is targeting free cash flow in the range of $140 million to $160 million in 2016.
• AAM is targeting full year capital spending of approximately 6% of sales in 2016.
