Tesla (TSLA) Gains As Clean Energy ETF Drops (QCLN)

It was a mixed for clean energy. This morning saw great action in Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA). The stock is up 10 percent in late trading after the company reported that it will deliver the Model S sedan early.
In other clean energy news, there were more reports of layoffs in the solar industry. First Solar Inc (NASDAQ: FSLR) and LDK Solar Co (NYSE: LDK) have been cutting jobs to lower costs. Today reports are out the Canadian Solar (NASDAQ: CSIQ) will soon follow suit.
NASDAQ Clean Edge Green Energy ETF (Nasdaq: QCLN) was down 1 percent in late trading.
