The Tema Electrification ETF (NASDAQ: VOLT) has exceeded $500 million in assets under management, according to a company announcement. The milestone was reached less than 18 months after the fund's December 2024 launch.

VOLT ranks in the first percentile of its Morningstar mid-cap blend category year-to-date. The fund recorded a 61.46% net asset value return over the past year and 27.12% since inception in December 2024.

The ETF focuses on electrification-related investments, with its portfolio primarily weighted toward U.S. companies. Top holdings include Powell Industries at 7.94%, Bel Fuse at 6.65%, and NextEra Energy at 5.80% of the portfolio.

"Electrification is one of the defining investment themes of this decade," said Chris Semenuk, investment partner and portfolio manager of VOLT. "What we're seeing is the early stages of a multi-decade capital cycle."

Tema ETFs, founded in 2022, manages institutional-quality exchange-traded funds. The company is backed by Index Ventures, Accel Partners, Zinal Growth, and financial services executives.

The fund carries sector concentration risks, particularly in industrials, materials, and utilities. Electric companies face regulatory approval requirements for rate adjustments and require extensive capital investments in infrastructure improvements.
