Freedom Capital Markets analyst Mikhail Paramonov downgraded Eagle Financial Services (NASDAQ: EFSI) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $43.00 (from $42.00).
The analyst comments "Revenue surpassed expectations, fueled by strong net interest income and expanding net interest margin (NIM), but net profit came in below forecast due to front-loaded operating expenses. Management maintains a prudent, conservative growth stance, targeting stable loan book expansion, resilient margins, and controlled risk, underpinned by solid capital and liquidity buffers. We downgrade our rating to Hold from Buy and lift our price target to $43 from $42. Our valuation is based on a 5-year discounted cash flow model using a free cash flow to equity (FCFE) approach."
