Strategy sold 1,638 bitcoin last week

Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) sold 3,011,361 shares of its Class A common stock between July 27 and August 2, 2026, generating net proceeds of $290.6 million through its at-the-market offering program, according to a statement released August 3, 2026.

Of the proceeds, $250.0 million was used to increase Strategy's USD Reserve, $28.9 million funded repurchases of STRC Stock under the Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program, and $11.7 million was added to the company's cash balance. No shares of its preferred stock series — STRF, STRC, STRK, or STRD — were sold during the period.

As of August 2, 2026, Strategy had $22,690.5 million remaining available for issuance and sale under its MSTR Stock offering. The company previously announced a $21.0 billion MSTR offering increase on March 23, 2026, which may begin once the existing offering capacity is substantially depleted.

Strategy also disclosed that it sold 1,638 bitcoin during the period at an average price of $63,957 per coin, for aggregate proceeds of approximately $104.73 million. Of that amount, $52.4 million funded dividends on preferred stock and $52.3 million funded STRC Stock repurchases. As of August 2, 2026, Strategy held 842,138 bitcoin at an aggregate purchase price of $63.51 billion, reflecting an average purchase price of $75,419 per coin.

Under its Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program, Strategy repurchased 912,143 shares of STRC Stock for $81.2 million during the period. A total of $893.8 million in aggregate purchase price remains available under that program. Strategy's separate $1.0 billion MSTR Stock repurchase program had no activity during the period. Both programs were announced on June 29, 2026.
