Vital Infrastructure secures $500M unsecured credit facility
Vital Infrastructure Property Trust (TSX: VITL.UN) announced it has entered into a $500 million senior unsecured corporate credit facility maturing in August 2031, replacing the REIT's previous $370 million secured credit facility.
The facility was arranged through a syndicate of three banks, with RBC Capital Markets acting as administrative agent and sole lead arranger. RBC Capital Markets, The Bank of Nova Scotia, and National Bank of Canada served as joint bookrunners. At closing, the REIT's unencumbered asset pool totaled $2.1 billion.
Chief Executive Officer Zach Vaughan said the unsecured facility reflects "the REIT's disciplined capital management over the past two years, the strength of Vital Infrastructure's diversified healthcare infrastructure portfolio and the continued support of our banking partners."
As of June 30, 2026, Vital Infrastructure held interests in 104 income-producing properties totaling 11.1 million square feet of gross leasable area across North America, Brazil, Europe, and Australia.
