VCI Global launches asset tokenization consultancy unit

VCI Global Limited (NASDAQ: VCIG) announced that its subsidiary Smart Bridge Technologies Limited has launched a consultancy focused on real-world asset tokenization services.

The new division will provide asset tokenization advisory services for real estate, commodities, carbon credits, intellectual property, and private equity. Smart Bridge will offer regulated listing support across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States, along with cross-border capital access and blockchain technology integration services.

The consultancy aims to help corporations, asset owners, and institutions structure and launch tokenization projects with compliance frameworks. Services include converting physical and financial assets into blockchain-verified tradable instruments.

"Smart Bridge represents a natural extension of VCI Global's mission to connect businesses with capital. By entering the RWA tokenization market, we are strengthening our platform with a new high-growth vertical," said Dato' Victor Hoo, Group Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VCI Global.

Smart Bridge Technologies is a Malaysia-based technology company specializing in AI-powered automation and enterprise IT solutions. The subsidiary combines software development and systems integration with the new tokenization advisory capabilities.

VCI Global operates as a cross-sector platform integrating technology with financial services across fintech, AI, robotics, and cybersecurity. The company focuses on serving governments, enterprises, and institutions, particularly in Southeast Asia.

The announcement references a projected $16 trillion tokenization market size cited from Boston Consulting Group and ADDX research, according to the company's press release statement.
