TransPerfect wins telephonic interpretation contract with Evolent

TransPerfect has been selected by Evolent Health (NYSE: EVH) to provide enterprise-wide telephonic interpretation services across Evolent's payer network, according to a press release from TransPerfect.

The expanded partnership will extend language access to health plan members with limited English proficiency. The service uses a hybrid model combining AI-enabled technology with human interpreters.

Evolent will also gain access to centralized reporting and performance data to track utilization trends. The company said this supports NCQA accreditation, regulatory compliance, and Medicare and Medicaid requirements.

Kristen Berquist, Evolent's Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations, said in the statement: "Expanding this relationship will help us provide more consistent language access across our organization while giving our teams greater insight into how these services are being used."

TransPerfect, headquartered in New York, provides language and AI services in more than 200 languages from offices in over 150 cities.
