Tetra Tech wins $16.8M EPA brownfields contract

Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) has been awarded a $16.8 million contract by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization, according to a company press release.

The four-year contract calls for Tetra Tech to provide planning, engineering design, and technical support for the EPA's national Land Revitalization Program. Work will include land use planning, sustainable development using green infrastructure, and economic site analyses to support the assessment, cleanup, and reuse of brownfield and contaminated properties.

"Tetra Tech has been providing innovative technical solutions in supporting EPA's redevelopment of brownfields and contaminated properties for more than 30 years," said Roger Argus, Tetra Tech Chief Executive Officer. "We are pleased to continue providing high-end technical expertise to return land to productive use while protecting human health and the environment in communities across the United States."

Tetra Tech is headquartered in Pasadena, California, and employs more than 25,000 people.
