Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) announced the launch of Autonomous Customer Intelligence, a software and services offering that transforms customer data into real-time actions. The platform uses agents powered by Teradata's intellectual property and industry knowledge to generate business value from customer signals.
The offering enhances Teradata's customer experience solutions by embedding agents throughout data processing, from constructing data products to detecting signals and activating responses across hybrid infrastructure. The company is also introducing AI Services to help organizations implement agentic projects at enterprise scale.
A survey by NewtonX conducted for Teradata found that 61% of organizations plan to increase spending on customer experience initiatives and AI-specific programs this year. The survey also indicated that 77% of organizations are considering or evaluating agentic AI to improve customer experience functions.
"Signals derived from customer data can be activated across marketing, service, risk, and product functions — transforming customer understanding into strategic business architecture that drives outcomes," said Sumeet Arora, Chief Product Officer at Teradata.
The first agentic offering focuses on Customer Lifetime Value, using real-time signals to proactively increase customer value through personalized engagement across millions of data points. The system uses AI-ready data products and scalable models to detect signals and guide decisions.
Teradata's Customer Intelligence Framework includes data products as foundational assets, an analytics layer for pattern detection, signals for expressing customer behavior, agents for automation, and AI solutions for customer experience use cases. The framework incorporates tools such as Enterprise Vector Store, AgentBuilder, and ClearScape Analytics.
Autonomous Customer Intelligence is available immediately through Teradata's AI Services, with AgentBuilder capabilities entering private preview in the fourth quarter. The company plans to introduce new Teradata Agents to customers on an ongoing basis.
