TOMI Environmental Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: TOMZ) announced the sale of a Custom Engineered System to an international pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in the United Kingdom. The company's SteraMist iHP technology has been integrated into Total Clean Air Limited's modular cleanroom platform.
This marks the first deployment of iHP technology within Total Clean Air's modular platform. The system is designed to comply with UK MHRA and EMA regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical cleanroom environments.
Total Clean Air Limited, a UK-based clean air and controlled environments specialist, developed the modular solution to embed decontamination capability directly into the cleanroom lifecycle from design through ongoing operation.
"At Total Clean Air, our role is to engineer certainty into pharmaceutical environments," said Phillip Godden, Chief Executive Officer of Total Clean Air. "Integrating SteraMist iHP directly into our modular cleanroom platform allows us to deliver a fully aligned, regulator-ready decontamination strategy that supports both UK and EMA expectations from day one."
Elissa Shane, Chief Operating Officer of TOMI Environmental Solutions, said the deployment represents a step in TOMI's international growth strategy. "Partnering with Total Clean Air enables SteraMist iHP to be embedded within a robust, high-quality modular cleanroom platform that is already aligned with stringent pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks," Shane said.
TOMI's Binary Ionization Technology platform uses hydrogen peroxide as its active ingredient to produce ionized hydrogen peroxide for disinfection and decontamination applications. The company serves various commercial sectors including hospitals, cruise ships, office buildings, schools, and food processing facilities.
The information is based on a company press release.
