Skillsoft Corp. (NYSE: SKIL) announced the launch of its next-generation Percipio Platform, which the company describes as an AI-native skills intelligence platform designed for workforces that combine human and artificial intelligence capabilities.

The platform integrates learning management, skills intelligence, and AI-powered content creation into a single system. According to the press release, the system aims to help organizations identify skill gaps and connect workforce development to business outcomes.

"Every company is racing to adapt to a reality where skills are the new driver of performance, and most of what they will need in the next few years is still unknown," said Ron Hovsepian, Chief Executive Officer of Skillsoft.

The platform includes several key features. LX Design Studio, an AI-powered authoring tool, allows organizations to create custom learning scenarios and courses. The company states this can reduce content creation time by up to 5x compared to traditional methods.

The skills intelligence component provides real-time visibility into workforce capabilities across both human employees and AI systems. The platform also includes learning management functions with tracking and personalized learning paths, as well as interactive learning experiences through coaching, simulations, and hands-on labs.

According to the World Economic Forum data cited in the release, nearly 40% of workers' core skills will face disruption by 2030. The platform is built using multi-agent architecture similar to Skillsoft's CAISY solution.

Amy Loomis, Group Vice President of Workplace Solutions at IDC, commented that the integration of skills intelligence, learning, and talent management in one system could help organizations compete in an AI-enabled environment.

Skillsoft serves over 105 million learners globally and counts 60% of Fortune 1000 companies among its clients. The company will demonstrate the platform at HR Tech 2025 in Las Vegas.
