SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) announced the continued expansion of its Semiconductor Personalization Center, a facility that programs chips with cryptographic identities for secure deployment across industries.
The centers provide key injection and secure identity provisioning, embedding unique cryptographic keys and certificates into each chip. The facilities integrate post-quantum security features designed to protect against quantum computing threats and customize chips for sectors including automotive, healthcare, aerospace, and defense.
SEALSQ operates personalization centers in Geneva, Switzerland, and Aix-en-Provence and Grenoble, France. The company plans to develop additional facilities in Murcia, Spain; Arizona; and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The centers operate under Common Criteria Certified Environment standards and are designed to interconnect through what the company calls the Quantum Corridor, a global infrastructure for quantum-resistant key management and cryptographic services.
"The SEALSQ Personalization Center is not just a manufacturing hub; it is the backbone of a trusted digital economy," said Carlos Moreira, CEO of SEALSQ. "By interconnecting our global sites through the Quantum Corridor, we ensure a continuous chain of trust that is both resilient to quantum threats and aligned with digital sovereignty requirements."
The centers personalize semiconductors for SEALSQ's WISeSat.Space initiative, supporting satellite constellations and space communications infrastructure. The facilities can adapt security features to comply with industry standards including the Matter protocol for smart homes and WI-Sun for smart grid applications.
SEALSQ develops semiconductors, public key infrastructure, and post-quantum technology hardware and software products, according to the company's press release.
