Rackspace Technology (NASDAQ: RXT) announced the launch of its AI launchpad service, a managed offering designed to help organizations evaluate, pilot and deploy artificial intelligence workloads. The San Antonio-based cloud solutions company said the service aims to reduce implementation complexity for AI adoption.

The AI launchpad provides a three-phase approach starting with proof of concept, followed by pilot programs, and concluding with production deployment. The service utilizes Rackspace's AI Anywhere private cloud solution, which includes managed GPU infrastructure powered by NVIDIA processors, Kubernetes clusters, and pre-installed AI and machine learning frameworks.

"Every enterprise knows AI will define the next decade of competition, but most are paralyzed by complexity," said Lance Weaver, Rackspace's Chief Product and Technology Officer for Private Cloud. "Rackspace AI launchpad eliminates that paralysis."

The company highlighted a case study with Compass, a healthcare provider that implemented an AI solution for electronic health records management. According to Rackspace, the implementation reduced manual review time by 80 percent and improved documentation quality through natural language querying and automated analysis features.

The AI launchpad service can be customized for various industries including healthcare, banking, finance, securities, insurance, and energy sectors. The offering includes technical documentation, onboarding support, and ongoing monitoring from AI infrastructure specialists.

Rackspace positions the service as addressing infrastructure complexity, tool selection challenges, and performance benchmarking issues that organizations face when adopting AI technologies. The service is built to operate in third-party or co-location data centers.
