Quantum X Labs launches quantum-native cybersecurity program
Quantum X Labs Inc. (Nasdaq: QXL) announced the launch of a quantum cybersecurity architecture program through its QuantumQ Security operation, built around three dimensions: Detect, Encrypt and Verify.
The Tel Aviv-based company said the program is designed to incorporate quantum mechanical properties directly into security infrastructure, rather than adapting existing classical security methods to address quantum-era threats. The three technology dimensions are intended to address anomaly detection, data encryption and authentication of integrity and ownership.
The company noted that the three technology programs — which include systems named LayerQake, Qatacomb and a verification technology — are each at different stages of research, development, validation and intellectual property activity. Further theoretical validation, simulation, prototype development and testing may be required before any of the technologies or an integrated platform can be commercialized.
"Quantum computing is forcing the cybersecurity industry to reconsider some of its most fundamental assumptions," said Prof. Nir Sharon, Chief Technology Officer of Quantum X Labs. "Our objective with QuantumQ Security is not simply to adapt yesterday's security architecture to tomorrow's computers."
The announcement follows the appointment of former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen as President of the company's Scientific Advisory Board. Cohen is expected to contribute to the company's expansion into defense, aerospace, homeland security and critical infrastructure markets.
Quantum X Labs said it intends to advance each technology independently while evaluating opportunities to integrate the three dimensions into a unified platform. The company's broader operations also include digital advertising, enterprise artificial intelligence solutions and grammatical error correction software through its subsidiaries.
