Nitro Construction Services acquires Rigney Digital Systems

Energy Services of America Corporation (NASDAQ: ESOA) announced that its subsidiary Nitro Construction Services has entered into an asset purchase agreement with Rigney Digital Systems Ltd Co., an HVAC control systems company based in Hurricane, West Virginia.
Rigney Digital Systems, founded in 2000, designs, installs, and services HVAC control systems. The company will maintain its brand identity, staff, and client relationships under the new ownership structure while operating as a distinct unit within Nitro Construction.
"This acquisition is a natural fit for Nitro Construction," said Douglas Reynolds, President and CEO of Energy Services. "Rigney Digital Systems' HVAC control expertise complements our existing services and allows us to provide clients with smarter, more efficient building solutions — all while preserving the Rigney name that customers have come to trust."
The acquisition expands Nitro Construction's capabilities in building technology services. Rigney will continue operating under its established name while accessing Nitro Construction's resources and support systems.
Energy Services of America Corporation operates primarily in the mid-Atlantic and Central regions of the United States, providing services to customers in natural gas, petroleum, water distribution, automotive, chemical, and power industries. The company employs more than 1,000 people and is headquartered in Huntington, West Virginia.
Nitro Construction Services has provided industrial construction, fabrication, and maintenance services for more than 60 years from its base in Nitro, West Virginia. Rigney Digital Systems has operated for 25 years specializing in HVAC control solutions for various facilities across the region.
