IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) announced the launch of IQVIA Predictive Clinical Development, an AI-powered platform aimed at helping life sciences companies reduce delays in bringing new therapies to market.
According to the company, the platform is designed to accelerate clinical trial timelines, with claimed performance metrics including 33% faster study startup, 1.7 times more patients recruited from AI-prioritized sites, 50% faster data cleaning, and a 45% or greater reduction in time between trial phases.
The platform incorporates technology from several third-party providers, including Anthropic, Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Microsoft, Nvidia, Palantir, and Snowflake, alongside IQVIA's proprietary data and regulatory expertise.
The platform consists of three components: a Clinical Design and Planning Suite for site selection and enrollment strategy; Push Button Start-Up, which applies automation to accelerate patient enrollment; and Real-time Data Cleaning, which consolidates clinical data across multiple sources to support faster database locks.
"We're helping customers make development faster, more predictable and of a higher quality — compressing timelines, accelerating decisions and speeding medicines to market," said Richard Staub, president of Research and Development Solutions at IQVIA.
The announcement was made in a press release issued by the company.
