Giftify to shift Restaurant.com to subscription-based model

Giftify Inc. (NASDAQ: GIFT) announced that its Restaurant.com platform will transition from individual deal purchases to a membership-based model beginning October 27, 2026, offering consumers monthly and annual subscription options.

Under the new structure, members will receive ongoing access to dining deals rather than purchasing offers one at a time. The company stated the shift is intended to build recurring revenue, improve revenue visibility, and increase the lifetime value of customer relationships.

"Membership is an established model across digital consumer and food-delivery services. Restaurant.com is bringing that model to dining deals, and it is the next step in how we build the brand," said Ketan Thakker, CEO of Giftify.

Giftify operates Restaurant.com, which the company describes as the nation's largest restaurant-focused digital deals brand, along with CardCash.com and Takeout7.com. Restaurant.com currently lists deals at over 184,000 restaurants and retailers.

The membership model is also intended to serve businesses that purchase Restaurant.com gift cards for incentive and loyalty programs, as well as restaurant partners seeking access to a broader audience. The company said a growing member base is expected to make the marketplace more attractive to restaurant partners, while a larger partner network is intended to add value for members.

"The membership model makes that value continuous. Members can choose the plan that works for them and enjoy ongoing opportunities to dine, save, and discover participating restaurants," said Thomas Butt, CTO of Giftify.

The company did not disclose pricing for the monthly or annual membership tiers. The new model launches October 27, 2026.
