GMEX Robotics acquires 30% stake in MediaMeta.Ai
GMEX Robotics Corporation (NASDAQ: GMEX) has closed an acquisition of an initial 30% fully diluted equity interest in Alpha Meta AI Pte. Ltd., which operates as MediaMeta.Ai, a Singapore-based artificial intelligence company focused on digital content, AI applications, and generative engine optimization.
The transaction, originally agreed upon July 28, 2026, was amended on October 14, 2026. The valuation remains unchanged, but the consideration mix was revised to 15% cash and 85% GMEX common shares. Shares issued as consideration are subject to a 24-month lockup period. GMEX also holds an option to increase its investment and become the controlling shareholder.
Under the agreement, MediaMeta provides GMEX with exclusive access to the technologies and platform it is currently operating and developing. GMEX said it intends to integrate MediaMeta's social intelligence capabilities — designed to help AI systems interpret human behavior and social context — into its Terminal + Brain (Intelligence) platform.
MediaMeta's social intelligence capabilities for robotics are described as still in development. Its existing business is centered on digital content and AI applications.
"MediaMeta's social intelligence technology is an important component of our vision for machines that better understand the people around them," said Sam Lu, GMEX Robotics Chief Executive Officer.
The companies said initial collaboration will focus on identifying use cases and development priorities across GMEX's four target markets: Consumer, Transportation & Logistics, Industrial Automation, and Resources Exploration.
GMEX also disclosed it is seeking acquisition targets in the United States with complementary technologies, though it noted there are no binding agreements in place and no assurance that any such transactions will be completed.
