Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) has received a 180-day extension from Nasdaq to regain compliance with the exchange's minimum bid price requirement, giving the company until February 22, 2027, to bring its stock price back above $1.00 per share.
Nasdaq notified the company in February 2026 that its common stock had traded below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days, triggering a violation of Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). The company was initially given until August 24, 2026, to resolve the deficiency but was unable to do so by that deadline.
Nasdaq granted the extension after determining that Datavault AI meets all other continued listing requirements, including the market value of publicly held shares. The company also submitted written notice of its intention to cure the deficiency, including through a potential reverse stock split.
The extension has no immediate effect on the listing or trading of the company's common stock, which will continue to trade under the symbol "DVLT" on the Nasdaq Capital Market. Compliance can be restored at any point during the extension period if the stock closes at or above $1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days.
If the company fails to regain compliance by February 22, 2027, Nasdaq may issue a delisting notice, which the company could appeal to a hearings panel. The company said it intends to monitor its bid price and consider available options to meet the requirement.
