U.S. Urology Partners Names Jonathan Coggins COO

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- U.S. Urology Partners announced today that Jonathan Coggins has joined the rapidly growing organization as Chief Operating Officer. Coggins is a strategy and operations leader experienced in driving growth and operational performance across large-scale, multisite healthcare organizations.

With a network of more than 70 locations across six states, U.S. Urology Partners continues to play a key role in advancing innovation and access to urological services. As a partner to independent, community-based urology practices, U.S. Urology Partners enables them to focus on delivering premier care to the patients they serve and is backed by leading global investor General Atlantic.

Coggins assumes the role from longtime U.S. Urology Partners executive Mandy Lawrence, who will serve as Chief Experience Officer, a critical new C-suite position. With a nursing degree and an MBA, Lawrence will focus on designing a more seamless, compassionate and coordinated patient journey to ensure patients receive the highest-quality, evidence-based care.

As Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Urology Partners, Coggins leads the company's operational strategy and execution across its network of affiliated urology practices, partnering with practice leadership to strengthen operations, drive growth and deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Coggins joins U.S. Urology Partners from McKesson Corporation, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Operations. In that role he set the strategic roadmap spanning McKesson's U.S. Oncology Network and Provider Solutions businesses. He also launched McKesson's first fintech and money-services offering for community-based practices and built Clarity Solutions, the company's device group purchasing organization, from the ground up.

Before McKesson, Coggins was part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture advisory services business, where he supported more than 100 M&A transactions and post-merger integrations for corporate and private equity clients. Coggins holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University's College of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
