Adds Leading American made Protective Apparel Manufacturer to Growing Global Portfolio

ELGIN, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SureWerx®, a leading global provider of safety, tool & equipment products, announced today that it has acquired American Safety Clothing Inc. Terms were not disclosed.

Based in Sellersville, PA, American Safety Clothing (ASC) is a global leader of critical-use Arc Flash, High Heat, FR and Cut Resistant apparel. The company established itself in Sellersville, PA, in 1949 and has been recognized as a category leader and innovator of highly technical and functional safety products for diverse end markets. ASC designs and manufactures a wide variety of High Heat, Arc Flash, FR and Cut Resistant safety apparel including suits, hoods, coveralls, tops, bottoms, gloves as well as other technical safety apparel products.
